The
moral test of government is how it treats those who are
in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the
twilight of life, the aged; and those who are in the
shadows of life, the sick, the needy, and the
handicapped.
Hubert H. Humphrey
"Surely we can all agree that abortion should be rare
and that we should do
all we can to help women avoid the need to face the
decision". Senator
Edward M. Kennedy, 2005.
(For more details, see the article in the
right hand column "The New Liberalism") Let's work
together in
2006 to help Senator Kennedy live up to these words by
becoming a sponsor of
the Democrats for Life 95-10 Legislative package to
reduce the number of
abortions by 95% in 10 years. His district office in
the John F.Kennedy
Federal Building is at 617-565-3170. His Washington
office is at

It is my personal
feeling that the legalization of abortion on demand is
not in accordance with the value which our civilization
places on human life. Wanted or unwanted, I believe that
human life, even at its earliest stages, has certain
rights which must be recognized—the right to be born,
the right to love, the right to grow old.
Senator Edward Kennedy in 1971 expressing his views on
abortion in a letter dated August 3, 1971 |

The Democratic Party's strong commitment to
human rights leads naturally to a pro-life
position. Just as we Democrats care about
children, the disabled, and the elderly, we care
about unborn children and their mothers.
The Democratic Party has always been the party
that stood for human rights of all kinds,
including women's rights, minority rights,
rights of the poor and disabled, and should
rightfully be the party that promotes human
rights for unborn human babies.
Join us in renewing our party's commitment to
compassion!

PREGNANT WOMEN SUPPORT ACT INTRODUCED
KERRY SEEKS REDUCTION OF ABORTIONS |
This is a very
opportune time for Pro-life Democrats. Designed to
reduce the number of abortions, The Pregnant Women
Support Act will offer women specific support during
their pregnancy. Please read Senator
Kerry's speech
to the right".
Call his district(
617-565-8519)
or Washington office
(202-224-2742) to ask him to
live up to his eloquent words by sponsoring the PWS Act
in the Senate
and Washington Number
. Also read Senator Kennedy's words to the
Left and make the same requests of him. There are
no legitimate reasons that all Massachusetts member of
Congress shouldn't co-sponsor this bill. Let's help to
make it happen!
